About

Roughly 20 something years into a journey that started out as supporting imagery for the poetry I wrote. Shortly into the process it became my main voice. A method of self-expression. Nothing commissioned or sold. Although, open to more commercially viable offerings, I create for the therapeutic benefits of it.

A self-taught photographer I use my photography sort of like a paintbrush to create images that I hope will stir thoughts and feelings in the viewer. The scenes I create generally feature people because my focus is on the condition of being human. This leads me into mainly working with models/artists requiring them to be expressive and able to reflect various life moments.

Occasionally, I’m inspired to step outside of my image creating bubble to make note of the happenings of life all around me. That’s when I’ll reflect on life through a journalistic approach in street photography, documenting special events or telling of the excitement from a concert.

Since most of my work involves collaborating with others I’m always searching for creatives interested in participating in my projects. Often, I work with professional models which has been a great benefit, although; it tends to get expensive.
Now, I’m looking to include more non-professionals in order to draw from a rawer pool of character traits in my subjects.
